Can man create life?
Robots, animations and artificial intelligence etc. can be designed to have all the attributes of man, people can see them think, talk, laugh, cry......, but they can never be made to possess the essence of man, that is, they cannot be made to possess the ability to experience joy, beauty, love, etc., for man simply don't know what these really are, how these come to be. Modern man even tends to deny that there are such "things" in life.
Life can only be created by Nature
Even in genetic engineering, or in cloning, life is not created, it is only replicated or modified. For if the essence of life, namely the capacity for joy, beauty, love, and other cognitive dimensions, had not existed at all, no life can have emerged even given that exactly the same materialistic life form can so happen be reproduced.
